Leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Unemployed Joint Action Committee have urged the State government to hand over the ongoing probe into 2018 Group-I exams case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
In a statement on Tuesday, JAC State convenor Shaik Siddik alleged that along with then Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission P.S.R. Anjaneyulu, the then chairman Gautam Sawang, Board member Parigi Sudhir and other Commission officials were also involved in gross irregularities in the conduct of the examination.
He said irregularities were not just limited to conduct of the preliminary examinations, but even in the interview round. He said there was a need to bring to light the facts related to the exact amount of public money misappropriated by those involved in the scam.
