NTR embodied values-based politics: Dokka Manikyavaraprasad

Former Minister Dokka Manikyavaraprasad paid rich tributes to Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao during his birth anniversary celebrations in Rajendra Nagar here on Wednesday (May 28). Calling NTR the epitome of Telugu pride and discipline, he said the legendary leader’s legacy is a source of inspiration for generations. Speaking to the media, Dokka accused the YSRCP of betraying Dalits and pursuing corrupt and violent politics over the past five years. He asked the party to suspend leaders involved in crimes against Dalits. He alleged that the YSRCP leaders raked up the Tenali incident at a time the TDP was organising Mahanadu, despite the fact that the alleged incident happened a month back. He urged the police to prevent political violence and appealed for strong policies from the TDP-led leadership at Mahanadu.
