Telugu Desam Party State President Palla Srinivasa Rao on Monday said that former Chief Minister and TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao brought laurels to Andhra Pradesh with his pioneering welfare schemes and effective administration.
Along with MP Kalisetti Appalanaidu and MLA Aditi Vijayalakshmi Gajapathi Raju, he formally inaugurated NTR’s statue near municipal office ahead of the Party’s constituency level Mahanadu on May 21 in Vizianagaram.
On the occasion, he said that ₹2 a kilo rice scheme, mandal level administration and other initiatives made successive governments to take more measures to win the hearts of the people.
Mr. Appalanaidu said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was following the ideals of the former Chief Minister. TDP Parliamentary wing President Kimidi Nagarjuna and other senior leaders were present.
